The Super Loot Candy Box

For £19.99 a month (including postage), you can get a box full of international candy sent straight to your door. Super Loot ship a box on the 1st of every month, if you wish to try one box then you can with their 1, 3 or 6 month payment options.

Here is the first ever Super Loot Candy box :)
(Note: Mine had only one Laffy Taffy in, because of reasons. But it's good because that stuff tastes like soap in my opinion)

Not started the Fluff yet but have had the strawberry flavoured one before.
The Pac-Man energy I'm savouring for an emergency.

Cookie Dough Bites are those types of things that don't taste amazing but are very addictive!
Nerds didn't last long, haven't had those for years, brought back memories :)

The Mario coins are cute, and the zelda one is full of mints (yet to be opened).

The Atari controller has gum inside, still yet to be opened.
I've never had Kool-Aid before, tempted to get some other flavours and do a full on taste test.

Personally the taste of this one was just wrong, soap is what came to mind.

Squashies Competition - I won!

Back in September I was browsing through my Facebook page as you do and I came across a little competition from Squashies. The question was 'What is the squashiest item in the room you're in right now? Best two answers will receive free squashies!'. At the time I was sat at my desk at work and the one squashy things I had was this years Red Nose Day nose and my desk alien. I noticed no one else had replied with an image so I thought I would give it a shot.

The next day I had a notification telling me that I had been tagged in the post and that I had won!! Just over a week later this box appeared at my door.

Dear Helen
Congratulations for winning our "Squashies item" competition!
We hope you enjoy your Squashies.
Kind regards
Swizzels Matlow Ltd

I was surprised and happy to realise that they had sent me a large and small version of each flavour from the range.

Thanks Swizzels Matlow!!!

BHS Seasonal Sweet Delights

During my lunchbreak on Friday I was just walking past BHS and noticed the festive promotion signs appearing on the ceiling through the glass doors. I stopped, recalled the sweet selection they had last year and decided to investigate! And I'm so very glad I did, look at what I found:

Firstly, there was so much!! Everywhere I looked there was such a variety of different sweets, some classics and some new versions of ones I know. BHS have their own variety of Jelly Beans called Weenie Beanie Jelly Beans. They also had a good selection from Swizzels Matlow, including the Variety Sweet Hoppers.

The one thing you defiantly couldn't miss were the HUGE Gum ball machines. There was a large one for £35, around about a meter high and the smaller one was about 2ft tall and costs £15.
These are both from the Fabulous Candy Co. range.

I usually find that if I eat too many Millions then I get a little bit of a sore jaw from all the chewing. So if I were to buy one of the large £20 jars the I think it would last me a fair while. There are also some smaller flavoured tins, box tins and sweet hopper versions.

The Fabulous Candy Co. brand consists mainly of small £6 retro bucket tins, fizzy cola bottles, giant strawberries, chocolate jazzies and many more.

The final collection I saw was 1KG tins of more retro sweets, which happen to have 20% off at the moment. Jelly babies, fruit pastilles, liquorice allsorts and wine gums! Such great value and such great gifts for any time of the year really.

I know that BHS have a lot of 20% (days well they usually do) running up until Christmas, those days I will surely be popping in!

Debenhams Seasonal Sweet Delights

We are now in September, with only 3 months until Christmas the festive sweet treats are already beginning to appear on the shop shelves. Yesterday I popped into Debenhams hoping to get a new bag 25% off, I failed but instead I came across all of these great yummy sweet gifts :)

The first items that caught my eye were the huge Swizzels Matlow Drumstick and Love Hearts money boxes. Then it was the Chuppa Chups Lunch tin.

The Mini sweetshop selection including Dolly Mix, Jelly Beans and Jazzies was a great set. And the Sweets of the 80's is a good nostalgic idea.

And there were so many various sizes of other classic favourites too! The massive Pick'n'mix and the Giant Strawberries were by far my favourite.

Didn't see the following at the Bath store, but Debenhams have some great stuff on their website. Seriously have my eye on that Jelly Belly machine!!

Jelly Belly jelly bean machine          Chuppa Chups flower bouquet

Jelly Belly Uno card game          Jelly Belly chocolate dips gift box

Think I know where I'm going for some Christmas gifts and review videos :)
